Greg Oden will not be returning to the court this season. Oden is a center for the Portland Trailblazers! Oden will undergo micro-fracture surgery on his left knee on Friday. In 2007, Greg Oden's rookie season, he missed the whole season with the same procedure on his right knee. Oden is only 22 and it seems as if he cannot make it through a season. His current injury obtained is said to have occurred due to his rehabbing of his fractured patella. If the Blazers do not extend Oden's contract, he will be a free agent i'n the summer. Things are not looming too good for Oden.

Branch's Return
When Randy Moss was traded from the Patriots back to the Vikings, Branch was on the Patriots radar all along. Branch was acquired from the Seahawks and now is back into the starting lineup. Branch will more than likely retire in a Patriots jersey, and might I say it is good to see him back in one!
Britt and Young Connect
Kenny Britt and Vince Young have been connecting very well in the past four games. Young has hit Britt for a touchdown in each of the last four games. Last week Vince Young sustained a knee sprain against the Jaguars and is questionable for this upcoming week. Britt is hoping to get his number one quarterback back so their connection and chemistry can continue an keep the Titans on the right path.
Birds down!
DeSean Jackson, Eagles wide receiver and Falcons corner back Dunta Robinson both went down from a hit that Robinson initiated. As Jackson was going for a across the middle, Robinson came flying down colliding with Jackson. The collision was gruesome. Both Jackson and Robinson were injured from the play. Jackson was diagnosed with a concussion while Robinson was said to have a "head injury". The Eagles are hoping to get Jackson back as soon as possible being that Jackson is play maker.
Big Hit Fine!
James Harrison was fine 75,000 for his aggressive play in the game of football. Harrison made a huge hit on Browns WR Mohamed Massaquoi in the Steelers 28-10 win over Cleveland. Harrison told multiple sources that he does not play to injure people but he does play to hurt people. Harrison stated that the difference between the two is that an injury will keep you from playing in the rest of a game or multiple games. Being hurt just means you are able to shake the hit off and get back to the next play or the next series. James Harrison was fined for playing a the game he has been active in since 10 years of age. James Harrison's exact words were that the game of football is "Handicapping him". Harrison is now contemplating retirement.

The Battle of Ohio
This past weekend, the Cleveland Browns beat the Cincinnati Bengal in a three point victory, 23 to 20. The Browns are now 1-3 and are looking for a way to bounce back. Cleveland is 1-1 in the conference, so they still have a chance to turn things around. The Browns do not want to be a losing team this year. They look at their young players to make veteran plays. Lately the Cleveland players have had a new swagger about them selves. One reason may be because of the new edition running back Hillis. ESPN's STATS LLC and The Associated Press, calls Hillis "a human battering ram in a helmet and shoulder pads." I cannot wait to see what the rest of the season has in store for this Cleveland team.

Moss's Return
Randy Moss started of with the Vikings, went to the Raiders, then to the Patriots. Now Moss is going back to his rookie year team, the Vikings. Randy is a Hall of Fame player. His media time may not be the best off the field, but when this guy is on the field he shows us why he is an elite athlete even at his age.

Return to the football world
Santonio Holmes as Well as Ben Roethlisberger will be making their return transition back on the field in this weeks game. Holmes was on a four game suspension for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. Holmes was originally with the Steelers, but was in a since stolen by the Jets. Big Bens original suspension was supposed to be six games, however his suspension was reduced to four games. Roethlisberger was accused of an act but he was never proven guilty. Should he have been suspended? What are your thoughts about this situation?

Kenny McKinley
In the case of Broncos former Wide Receiver, it has been ruled as a possible suicide case. All the details are yet to hit the main stream. Kenny played college football for South Carolina and it was his second year in the NFL. ESPN sent there regards multiple times last night and will more than likely do so today.
